About: Precious Woman

Precious Woman is a non-profit making Christian organisation, hosting breakfasts and evening events throughout the year for all women of faith and none.

Together we enjoy good food at our great local venues to be inspired by our diverse speakers — all ‘ordinary’ women with ‘extraordinary’ stories to tell.

About
Precious Woman was founded by Mirella in 2008 out of a passion and desire to share the love of God amongst all women. The concept of creating a social event through these inspired words — “tell my daughters how much I love them” — was the driving force that saw Precious Woman emerging from the church and into the local community.

Mirella’s “social butterfly” character meant she could draw together people who wouldn’t normally connect. Her diverse group of friends inspired her dream of having a “big coffee morning” with everyone together. That dream became reality in May 2008 in Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire, where 40–45 women gathered for the first time.

With a team of two — Mirella and her friend Stella — God did the miraculous through their continued prayers as they stepped into the unknown. An intergenerational Christian women’s gathering, open to all, was born. These events create a relaxed, beautiful, and safe environment where women share thoughts, speak freely, and laugh to their heart’s content.

Since then, Precious Woman has evolved, using many local venues and welcoming speakers who share inspiring stories of faith, compassion, and service to the poor and marginalised. The team remains dedicated to running these events each year to support every woman on her faith journey.

Our Vision is:

To gather women of all backgrounds, Christian and non-Christian, of all ages, to share God’s love and kindness regardless of their past or present.

To give a platform to Christian women speakers who live sacrificially and serve others with love and faith, often through charity and service.

To support all women beginning or continuing their faith journey.

It is our prayer that all women live in freedom — in a faith that allows them to flourish and grow into who they were created to be.
